How the journey began

From a full freezer to a new idea

Milksy grew from a very familiar wish: not to let breast milk, carrying so much time, love and energy, go to waste, but to keep using it in a practical way.

The first question

How do you store something this valuable?

A breast milk supply grows faster than you might expect. Bag by bag, the freezer fills up, while every millilitre represents time, perseverance and a very special chapter. At the same time, you want to keep using that milk at home, at childcare, during a workday or while travelling.

That everyday lack of space, together with a need for greater convenience, sparked the search for another way to store breast milk. One that needs less freezer space and is easier to take along, while preserving the personal value of the milk.

From an idea to a careful process

Not simply drying, but understanding every step

Freeze-drying proved to be a promising technique, but a piece of equipment alone does not make a reliable service. From the start, development focused on the entire journey: safe delivery, temperature checks, registering every batch, separate processing, careful packaging and clear instructions for using the powder again.

By building, testing and refining the process one step at a time, a practical idea grew into the Milksy approach we use today.

What matters to us

Technology behind the scenes, personal care at the front

Every order has its own story. One mother may want to make her supply easier to send to childcare. Another family may want peace of mind for a holiday or a return to work. Sometimes it is mainly about keeping milk for later or preserving a tangible memory of the breastfeeding journey.

That is why we keep our explanations human and our guidance personal. We clearly explain what to expect, send updates at important moments and remain available whenever you are unsure about something.

Milksy today

More possibilities, the same care

What began with a wish to store breast milk more practically has grown into a broader range of ways to preserve both milk and memories.
